Have a look at artisofts webpage  http://www.artisoft.com , they have a
modemsharing application which you can use download in a30 day trial
version - ot at least they had last time i lookeed.  If you want more users
to use the sam connection at the same time - youll have to find some proxy
application somewhere

Good luck

I use a single Linux box (4M, 40M HD, 386SX/16) as a comm server.  Contact
me PRIVATE if you are interested.  We can configure a machine to do this
for you.

Kevin I may not understand what your meaning but if you want to go keyboard
to keyboard to someone over the net you might want to look at NetScape 4.0.
It has a message thingy that lets you go thru AOL.com from your local
server and hook up with another person and do Keyboard to keyboard. I
understand it will handle more then one like in a conference room.......

Kevin ,

Look for wingate on yahoo, they have a nice proxy server that comes free (in
a one user combination) serves as mail , ftp , www, telnet  proxy etc. this
means that you can be connected at the server and one other user can be on
the net on a machine hooked up to an Ethernet card or similar

I use this combination successful on my home network (two PC's with Ethernet
card and crossover cable , no hub needed)
my wife can browse the net whenever my machine is on , dialing and browsing
will work transparently

for a more than one user trial version you need a password that will give
you the opportunity to run it for a fixed period (send them email)

It works great !

Peter
