Hi All,

This is probably a stupid question, but does the PIC16C73 come in a 28
pin WIDE (600 mil) package?  In the data sheet there are only 'skinny'
DIP outlines.

Thanx
Niki

Niki:

Funny you should ask... Just yesterday, I won a bet from a friend by
showing him a pair of 600-mil 16C73s that I keep on my desk.

However... Those were just pre-production engineering samples; the
production DIP parts are only available in 300-mil packages.

Niki, as far as DIP packages, the 16C73/A only come in the 300mil
package. Why would you want a 600mil package?

Geesh Andy, I'm glad I did'nt take you up on that bet ;-)
I had samples of the 73 but I had no idea about the 600 mil parts.
Talk about a major rev!
