'Wanted: Source code for COM84 programmer'
I was planning to make an easy-to-use PIC programming utility for
"ludipipo" or "COM84" programmers, and I am now wondering if anybody has an
example source code, preferably in Basic, as how to control the serial port
to get the PIC programmed. The software will be published both in a Win95
and an Amiga version.
I thank you in advance.

If your refer to PIP02 that is supplied by Ludwig Catta without our permission
as a part of the "ludipipo" package then we are the makers of the that software,
so indeed we have some source code :)
The software is written in Borland Pascal, and even as we have made some
test programs in Basic we do not have suitable basic source code.
If you want to make Win95 programming software then you could take advantage
of our portable hardware driver approuch uisng PINAPI win drivers - there
is one made for COM84 programmer. If writing your programmer software on
top of our API interface your software would work with all the hardware
we have drivers for not only with COM84. This would include AN589 DTAIT
and all programmers from Hi-Lo amongst others.
PINAPI is SDK is avialable on request for interested parties, for further
information pls e-mail me direct.
with best regards
