Does anyone have simple way to generate a square wave with a '54, 1 to 500Hz
at 1Hz intervals. Selection done using port b as inputs.

Thanks.

Yes and No
==========

There is a very good article on Wave Synthesis written by Motorola available at

http://www.motorola.com

It applies to DSP chips, but the essential theory is really what's
important. And once you realise how it works, you will be able to tackle any
kind of waveform generation.

Admittedly, the square wave and ramp signals are simpler than the rest, and
I will gladly assist you in private email.

That's a rather large site, and nothing obvious came up searching
for wave synthesis. Could you be a little more specific?
