I am almost ready to play with the Scenix IRDA implementation. I have the SX28 chips in hand, but I don't yet have a programmer. What's the best option for basic function? However, the more I used it, the more I got frustrated. The source is closed, and not well implemented. The IDE has a large number of shortcomings ... standard Windows keystrokes being one of them (hey, it _IS_ supposed to be a Windows product). Unfortunately, they've never done much to improve the code base. Ubicom did not purchase Scenix. Scenix just changed it's name. They are concentrating on the new IP2K chip but still make and support the SX chips. SX chips are alive and well!
