Dear PicMasters:

I configured the RB4 a input. In MPLAB, the simulation is ok, but
when I test the circuit, the RB4 dont' works. I wrote a small program to
test it, but the RB4 did'nt works.
Can you help me?

TRIS registers are located in second data bank, probably you forget to switch
data banks forward and back. (PORT registers are located in first data bank)

Hi Rodolfo,

Try posting your code and THEN see if you get some help. Also, be more
specific -- what makes you think RB4 doesn't work?

Try disconnecting the pin from the circuit and wiring to a debounced
button.

Be aware that reading the port reads the PIN values for all
bits, regardless of whether they're configured for output. So
if you set a pin to 1 and hard ground it, then read it, it'll read 0

Hi Rodolfo.

Your problem is on RB4 or RA4?

Don't forget, RA4 is open-colector and you need to put a pull-up (or pull
down) resistor
