PRESERVE FAVORITE PHOTOS
  BY SAVING THEM ON YOUR
               COMPUTER!
**********************************************
Dear Friend,

I've scanned photos for THOUSANDS of people on the internet for
for many purposes.

* FAMILY PHOTOS
* PORTRAITS
* PORTFOLIOS
* SNAPSHOTS / POLAROIDS
* TEAMS / SPORTS PHOTOS
* DRAWINGS / SKETCHES / ARTWORK
* WEDDING PHOTOS

* All photos are scanned in high resolution, 16.7 million color JPEG
format. Of all the format types, this is the best and fastest format
in which to scan and transfer images. Maximum size is 8"x14". Sorry,
no slides.

It's both simple and inexpensive.

3 for $5
8 for $10

If interested, please SEND your photos (ANY quantity/size/subject) and
check, money order, or cash for the appropriate amount to my home address
below. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (IF you would
like to have your photos returned).

                   Greg Shields
                   8639 North Himes Ave, Suite 2924
                   Tampa, FL  33614

When I receive your photos in the mail, I'll scan them and E-MAIL the
images back to your computer! Please be SURE to include your E-MAIL
ADDRESS! I'll then send the originals back to you in the self-addressed,
stamped envelope you included.

YOUR  PHOTOS  WILL  BE  SENT  TO  YOU  VIA  E-MAIL  ATTACHMENT ON  THE  SAME
DAY  THAT  I  RECEIVE  THEM!

Here are some comments from a few of my customers:

"I, basically, took a chance and sent my photos and check to Greg, figuring
I didn't have that much to lose. Well, Greg was VERY honest and
accommodating. Since then, he has done subsequent scans for me.
As you know, there are a lot of people on the internet who are willing
(and able) to scam you, but Greg WON'T, trust me! The "customer service"
couldn't be better. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or
concerns at and I'll set your mind at rest. Hey, this is a lot easier, and
cheaper, than going to Kinko's!  Peace!"
- Bob

"Dear Greg, Thank you so much. Your work is simply awesome! I will be
sending you more photos to scan in the future. Thanks again!"
- Robert

"Dear Greg, The photos were more than I expected! Thanks a lot...I will
definitely be doing business with you again in the near future!"
- Dave

"Dear Greg, Thanks so much for scanning my photos! I promise I will tell
everyone I know about your service and I'll also be sending more pictures
to you. I really think it's great that you use your scanner to help others and
make some extra money on the side. Keep it up - you're a smart one!"
- Nikkie

THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS. I HOPE TO HEAR FROM
YOU SOON!

How did this get into the piclist? I thought mailing lists were immune to
this type of thing...

       I preserved a copy of that spam and sent it to
.....abuseKILLspamspam@spam@bellatlantic.net.  If that's not a good address, I'll try
postmasterspamKILLspambellatlantic.net.  Whoever sent this will get the negative.

       Actually, I noticed a uu.net header on there so God only knows
where it really came from.

Re: replies to basic and tag lines
I personally appreciate the multitude of replies to my posted queries.
I stole (copied) tag lines once maybe twice but used them only in one or
two posts.Ancient (dead) poets mostly.But stopped quickly.Felt like
scratching in public or something.
