Philippe,
I am sure that your UMPS product is very good and is all things to all
men but I have to confess I, and this is just my opinion, am just a
little sick of the endless plugging you seem to be giving it in this
picklist.

It is not realy essential that you answer all of the questions relating
to development by plugging your product.

I was going to try it, and probably will, but your continual "selling"
of it has, I am afraid, already mared my opinion of what could turn out
to be a very good product.

Please be a little more selective about how you advertise it in future,
and try and just answer questions without mentioning it :))))

Cheers Peter ..........

I heartily second that motion.  It may be a good product, but it
isn't the only game in town.  It costs money and requires windows which
are two strikes against it in my opinion when there are products out there
that work and don't require us to help Bill buy his new house GRRRR.

       Nothing personal.  Just feedback.

I apologize and did not have the intention to offend somebody,
will not post other message about this.
Sorry,

       Regards,

From the other side, I appreciate the plugging, but not to the same extent.

Perhaps if you put the link in your signature file you would be less
offensive.  This is what most of the others out here are doing (Ben Wirz,
Andy Warren, etc.)

As for these two things:

THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT WINDOWS-BASED.  How about a Win95-only version!

Charging for it isn't a problem.  We ALL need to eat, I presume.

The application does not require you to have something you probably don't
already have.  After all, the best software being written nowadays seems to
be based upon GUIs.

I say, "Forget DOS - it should never have been released."

Whiners all of you!
If the first guy plugs his product...so be it!  You certainly whine on long
enough about the evils of Bill Gates!  Do I detect a little nerd envy?
Free speech to all no mater what.  I'll support you for hating Bill if you
lay off someone else.

And I second that! Whining about bandwidth usually creates *more*
rubbish mail
(like this) Let them plug their products - they worked hard to enhance
*our*
productivity (and their pockets, of course) anything that would cut down
on the
following mail, would be a winner :

1) Could anybody please tell me where I can get a programmer for under
$1
2) Could anybody please tell me where I can get code for XXX and
something to
simulate it? Still better - post me the completed code.
