If you don't have access to the PAD command you could try TELNET to :- lon.telnet.ja.net south.telnet.ja.net north.telnet.ja.net mid.telnet.ja.net These convertors are arranged in (obvious) geographical locations in the U.K. - choose the nearest. Once you get the 'Connect to:' prompt just type 'pss-gate'. David's instructions follow from this point. This method seems to work for this '.ac' site ! Sean Hagan
