'MPLAB v3.40 Beta available at www.microchip.com'
A Beta version of the next MPLAB software has been posted on the Microchip
to download v3.32.15. This unzips to 5 files for installation from either
hard drive or floppy disk. We'll try to make a "patch" version for the
official release so you won't have to download another 6 Megabyte file if
you have already downloaded the beta version.
This has a revamped Project Manager to deal with multi-file projects and it
integrates MPLINK (and MPLAB-C17) into MPLAB. There is a firmware update
for PICSTART Plus so that it can program the new PIC16C67x devices,
MPLAB-SIM support for new devices, and, by popular demand, enhanced Watch
As requested by many members of this list, over 40 improvements/fixes were
attended to in this release.
See the README.LAB file for a tutorial on using the new project manager.
This tutorial is just text, but a fancier tutorial will be posted soon on
the Microchip web page.

Been there, done that. The list of improvements are truly impressive. Well done. One
thing that I just couldn't get right, is to get MPC going in this MPLAB.
How does one go about adding another compiler in the 'Language Tool'

Yeah, yeah, but does it support NT 4.0 YET?!?!
Or does it even support Windows '95 and be a real 32 bit application?

We will do this for the other popular third party tools befor final release, and
document it as well. To add support for MPC, you can copy TLMPLABC.INI to
and MPLAB.MTC to MPC.MTC.
Edit TLMPC.INI to
Note the last line points to the MPC.INI MPLAB will search for TL*.INI files
Look at MPC.INI. It contains info on all the command line switches. You can
figure them out to get it working since MPLAB-C is derived from MPC.

Not even WIndows '95 is truly 32-bit!
My CAD supplier have written graphic boost stuff in the cad because of
windows slow 16-bit graphics!

Yeah, and DOES it support NT yet (for programming and emulating) or not?
