Hi,

If anyone got some code to implement I2C slave, please e-mail me, or put
some code on this post.

Best Regards

Anyone got a good source of some I2C slave code?  I already have developed
master code.  I am not using the I2C hardware port, just bit-banging.
I am using a 16F84 at 10 MHz, but that should not be relevant.
Anything quick will be appreciated.
Full implementation will be my end goal. Start, Stop, Cancel, Confirm, hold
clock line till done, or what ever the "proper" terms are.

Best Regards,
Giles

That code looks beautifully written, makes me want to learn spanish :)
I wish more people did it that well!

Well, since many years Spanish is the most chosen second language, then
German and Italian (for the native English speaking language). For the
rest of the World (not English native language) English is a choice,
then French, German, and so on.  A third language is never too much, and
allow you to communicate better... (not talking about computer
language... :).  I used to write code with comments in portuguese, but
because lots of people just don't choose portuguese as the second
language at school (except in China), I don't use it anymore, but I
think Spanish, Italian, French and German is acceptable.

Thanks for the code example.  I will work on it tonight, if all goes well, I
will post a english version when I am done.
I don't know another language, but I feel confident I can get it figured
out.

Best regards,
Giles

I glanced over the code.  It is very well organized, but it looks to me that
it is all Master I2C code, that is a PIC talking to I2C devices.
What I am needing is slave code.  Make a PIC act as a I2C device.

Slave code would look as follows:
The PIC should wait for the clock line to go low, and once low, will check
the data ...
If not ready to recieve next bit, the slave pic will hold the clock line
low(also)...
The slave code should not need any delays loops.

A freind just showed me AN541, it looks like it may work, I will try it
next.
Thanks,

Giles
