I am trying version 3.99 of MPLAB, but I do not know how to start a new
project. Well, what I haven't been able to do is to include the *.asm file.

Can anybody help me?

TIA

In version 3.40 there was a file called 'tutor.pdf' that explains in very
deep detail how to do it. I suppose that it will be similar on your version.

You can download it from this site:
http://www.microchip.com/Download/Html/TUTOR340/0.htm

Good luck from Spain

Calvin:

Point your browser at the Microchip web page from which you
downloaded MPLAB:

   http://www.microchip.com/10/Tools/mTools/MPLAB/index.htm

Scroll to the bottom of the page; you'll see "MPLAB Project
Tutorial Rev B".  Download it.

I had trouble getting started in MPLAB too.   Try this: go to Edit Project
and put the asm file in that way.   Of course you have to create some file
with an asm extension to do this, but once its in the project you can change
it and compile it.  Hope this advice helps: John Kirk
