'Frequency to voltage'

Hello all,
I am developing four axis micro stepping controllers using the '73.
I am dealing with rates of 16000Hz-200000Hz with acceleration and
de-acceleration. I need to capture my output with a DSO. To do so I need
to convert the frequency to a voltage. So here is my question.
I need a piece of test equipment that will convert freq. to voltage. Does
anyone know a manufacture of distributor for a freq. to voltage converter?
I know they exits, HP use to have one in their lab.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you mean you wish to purchase one like the HP unit, or you want to build
one using a specific part? The LM2907 and LM2917 are frequency-to-voltage
chips(take one off that old full-height floppy drive).
