Hi.
I happen to have a collection of 74LS (DIP) chips
from the early 80's. I can't see any use of them
anymore. So they'll end up on the dustheap, *if*
not someone would like them. Someone running a
"IC-museum" perhaps :-)

I'll wait a few days, and then they'll be gone...

Jan-Erik Soderholm.

Jan-erik,

I would like to have them, but I'm in the US, and I'm not sure where
you are.   But unless you're in the US, the shipping costs would offset
any benefit to me.  One suggestion would be to give them to the local
high school, technical school or college for student use.   I have done
this several times with items I no longer need.  Just a thought.  I hate
to see them thrown away.   Let me know if you can't get rid of them.

                                      Thanks and regards,

                                             Jim

Jan-Erik,
Any idea on shipping to Australia? I'd gladly take them but shipping prices may be too expensive.

Hi.

Shipping cost is depending on weight, of course.
It's 600+ chips of 35-40 types. Total around 1.2 Kg
(without packing material). 1.0 - 2.0 Kg costs aprox
$20 (USD) Sweden -> Australia.

Now, was you interested in the whole lot or a subset ?

I am/was planning to put a list of all types on my
web page this evening/night, but I'm not sure now
that I'll make it today.

Jan-Erik.

Hi everyone !

I felt it was easier to just post the list of my
74LS chips here then on my web site, since it's a
one-time thing anyway. So you can see the list below.
(Sorry if this isn't realy a [EE] topic, but it started
as such, so I thought I'll better also end it as such...)

I'v done some experimening with my letter scale, and
I'v calculated the following p&p costs ($ USD):

1-40 chips         :  $5
41-100 chips       :  $10
101-200 chips      :  $15
201-400 chips      :  $20
401-all 600 chips  :  $30

This is "anyware, all included", package, postage and "handling"...
PayPal is prefered (jan-erik.soderholm -at- telia -dot- com).

I don't have tubes for these chips, so I'll pack them in
the most weight-effective way as possible.

Regards
Jan-Erik.

OK, then
Here's the list. They are of a couple different brands,
the most common are (all are ceramic packages) :
"SN74LSxxxJ" from Texas (most of them)
"74LSxxxDC" from Fairchild
"DM74LSxxxJ" [don't know the brand] (just a few)

Type Quant.
