'Dual PWM's?'

I'm using a PIC16F877 which has two CCP/PWM modules. It seems like the
period for the PWM is set by timer2...does this mean that I can't have
different frequencies coming out of each PWM?

Jeffrey,
both PWM outputs have the same frequency, because this is determined by PR2.
There are two registers CCPR1L and CCPR2L for the two PWM, so you can have
different duty cycles.
Look into the data sheet - section Capture/Compare/PWM-Module, subsection
PWM mode.
There's also an appnote AN594, which describes all the modes of the CCP
module in a very good way. Also it shows the interaction between the CCP's.
