'Assemblers Moving from Parallax to Microchip'

I am currently a user of the parallax assemblers pasm and pasmx. While I
enjoy using them they have constraints (No macros ,conditional asssembly etc
). I plan to move to the Microchip assembler on my next project.
Has anybody produced a FAQ on the mchip assembler. Printing out the
usrguide.txt resulted in a 90 page document
I would like the learning curve to be as steep and SHORT as possible does
any one out there have advice on the best way to make the transition without
too much pain :-)
Recently someone was offering a program to convert parallax to mpasm is this
available from an ftp site.
Thanks Ian

Ian:
Get a copy of the "Microchip MPASM Assembler User's Guide" (document
number DS33014C) from your local Microchip rep.
