I have another 'quick' question... Does anyone know how much power is
in an alkaline AA cell? It's 1.5V but what are the Amp/Hours?

Thanks,
Adi

Try: http://www.dantona.com/2-3htm.htm for a rough guide or consult your

In 1993  Eveready claimed 2250 milliamp hours capacity for
an AA Alkaline.
In 1984 Duracell claimed 1800 mAH.
The technology would appear to be improving.

Actual rates for a given cell will depend on your current
drain, temperature and (slightly) the acceptable end point
voltage.

Your mileage may vary.

IIRC a Duracell AA is rated at 2800 mAh

Duracell.com has an excellent web site with discharge curves plotted for
approximating battery life.  You can also email for design support.

If you look on my website I have discharge curves for a number of
different AA batteries.
