Hello group, I don't know if the group is already aware of this, but I found a great programmer made by some spanish guys (I think there are also some argentinians). Anyways, it allows you to program almost every pic made. Here is the software: http://perso.wanadoo.es/siscobf/gtp-usb.htm or just click on "Descargar WinPic800" (Download WinPic800). It can use ALOT of different programmers, but I think the best one is the GTP-USB Lite. GTP stands for "Grabador Todo Pic" (Every Pic Programmer). Here is the link for the hardware: perso.wanadoo.es/j1m/proyectos/gtpusblite/index.htm or perso.wanadoo.es/j1m/proyectos/gtpusblite/gtp_usb_lite.zip The programmer uses a 18F2550. You can find the .hex in the directory ..\Winpic800\Gtp-usb\ When you connect the programmer for the first time windows recognises it as a new hardware. The driver is in the directory ..\WinPic800\Gtp-usb\Driver GTP-USB\ You also need to tell WinPic800 you are using the GTP-USB Lite programmer. Just copy the GTP-USB-Lite.hwp file (It's in the gtp_usb_lite.zip) to the hardware directory of WinPic800. I know it sounds like alot of things, but it's very simple. I'm still building it, but reading some forums it seems this programmer works with all the pics supported by the software and it programms really REALLY fast!
