for 0 you have 0G
and for 90 degrees you have 1G
i belive its directly proportional or no?
is 45 degrees .5 G ??

Hi Ryan,

'Fraid not... if asin were linear, then sin would be too.

asin(0)=0 deg
asin(0.5)=30 deg
asin(sqrt(2)/2)=45 deg
asin(sqrt(3)/2)=60 deg
asin(1)=90 deg

I didnt mean that asin was linear...
I was asking if the output of the accelerometer was liner
I.E. .5 G's for 45 degrees...but I guess once I think about it
that is realy what I was asking...so my mistake :-)
