Searching for a good price / performance programmer for the 16CXX series, I found an advertisement on the EPICtm pocket PIC programmer, that looks as a very good option. As per the brochure it programs 16C62,62x,64,65,71,73,74 and 84. It comes either assembled or as bare board with schematics. Is manufactured by Micro Engineering Labs, (719) 520-5323 My questions; 1>Any experience, good or bad with this programmer??? 2>Is compatible with the outputs of the Microchip and/or Parallax assemblers???

I am totally surprised seeing almost no activity at this list on the Parallax ClearviewXX. I am interested on the ClearviewXX model, supplemented by the module 16C74 ( new version ) that supports more than the 16C74. Can somebody explain if this emulator is covered on any other list and/or other internet archives.???? JJA
