Friends,
I am using a PIC12C509 to interface to an I/O Tech Digital 488 interface. I am c
ontrolling 3 relays along with some various software (HP-VEE). The problem is wh
en I try to have the I/O Tech output to the PIC the CKT won't switch. The fan-ou
t of the I/O 488 is only 2 TTL levels (2-3mA) It isn't strong enough to trip the
CKT( ???). The output of the PIC goes to a 2N3904 TXER. Any suggestions of some
how being able to switch this CKT would be of super help.. Any suggestions on my
problem will be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks for taking the time!!!

                               Best regards,
                               Steven

If the I/O from this device are TTL levels, Logic 1 may not be high
enough for the PIC to recognise. Try a pullup resistor.

Be like the learning doctor. Plenty of 'patients' and you'll get there.
