All,

IMHO, I agree that OTP parts are not ideal for system components that
need, or are capable of,
reprogeamming in a given system.  However, these parts would seem to
have a place in virtually  any system in places where they could be utilized as glue logic.  Or
they could be used as a key  or dongle of sorts wherein you have a system that is capable of
performing many functions.   These chips could define the particular function that the system will
perform at shipping time.   This would be in lieu of firmware that defines a function.  They could
also take the place of  "Blue Wires" in a project under development.  These are just ideas
meant to give a point of view
that shows that even OTP parts may have a part in many systems.  And at
the cost that is shown on  the website, they are certainly affordable.

Yes, Programmability.  Not necessarily REprogrammibility.
And these OTP FPGA parts qualify under both criteria
