I have two boards (1.8" 160MB flash IDE drive and PC104-ish SBC), both with 2x22 pins on 2mm pitch. Can someone tell me where to find a female-to-female, sockets-on-both-sides spacer so that I can plug these two together without any length of ribbon cable between them? Would something like a pair of SMT sockets on opposite sides of a home-made PC board, with the right crossover traces, do this for you? Alternately, epoxy two ribbon cable connectors to each other so they act as a "monoblock"?
