First, I've been looking at using the 16F627 for a project for the last few days and thank you all for your help. :) I've got a question about PORTA though on the 16F627. If I use the comparator in CM2:CM0 = 101 mode (One independent comparator), can I still use the rest of the port as digital inputs/outputs and only use RA1, RA2 as the comparator? Yep, exactly. I'm doing that exact thing with a project now, in fact... RA0 is a digital output, RA1 & RA2 are comparator inputs, RA3 is digital out, RA4 is unused and RA5 is a digital input.
