I'm running a class for potential radio hams and want to illustrate
the change in technology over the last couple of decades. Here in
the UK 12C509s are about 1 dollar (+ tax) each. Can anyone give
me a ballpark figure for about how many discrete transistors would
comprise a 12C509? I guess it's as good an example of 'look what
a dollar buys you these days' as anything!
