I have shut down mail delivery to the user whose ISP is bouncing messages
back to the list.  Hopefully we'll see an end to this repetitive,
redundant, spurious, repetitive, repetitive, repetitive cycle of messages
repeating repetitively.

He could. Maintaining the PICList is no mean feat. It's been said
before, and should be repeated, without Dale, the PICList wouldn't be
around right now.

completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete
fools.

Yeah, I'm planning that....  with guys like Josh & Herbert Graf to help
out, plus the auto-delete now properly configured and taking a lot of the
load off, it's muuuuch better now.

Yeah, yeah...  no applause, please, just somebody send me a design for a
VHF (174MHz) RF power amp giving 4W out from 100mW in, costing less than
$2 for parts in qty. 500, using as little board space as possible and
running off 13.8VDC or 3-4 AA NiCD batteries...  actually I think I have
something workable, but only testing will tell for sure.

I get enough free help from really, really talented people to make this
worthwhile.

Stability? (Will output always see 50 +j0, built-in VSWR protect, etc)

BW? (1 MHz, 10 MHz)

Efficiency?

Temp range?

Expected life-time?

Jim
