Hiya guys,

It is a little bit off topic, but I stuck completely: I have been searching
for a manufacturer or anybody who sells jumpers and jumper sized connectors
in volume At the moment I would need a 3 pin male connector, but interested
on other things as well. The reason is why I write this here because I just
could not believe that a mid-range PIC is cheaper than 3 tiny metal pin and
a plastic housing for it and diving into the internet for as long as two
weeks does not seems to help on my problem...

Thanks for any help!

Tamas

I don't know where you are, but is this the sort of thing you mean:
194.201.138.187/epages/Store.storefront/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store.TechSupplies/Products/jumpermaster/SubProducts/CON035
?  It shows a 2-pin item although this one is actually 3-pin.

Their web site is a bit of a mess, but their prices are good!  UK£0.03 for a 3-pin male connector, UK£0.09 for a jumper (including VAT).

Cheers,

Howard,

Thanks very much indeed! I owe you a couple of pints :-)

I live in Dublin so probably will be able to get one of those from the UK.

Thanks again,
Tamas

Similar things are available from RS and Farnell, typically as longer strips
that you snip to the required number of pins. They also have the jumpers to
put on them.

e.g. RS 334-555, 334-549 or 472-938 and 334-561 for the jumpers. (catalogue
page 2-571)

Depends where do you live. If is Hungary, then here could be your solution:
http://www.comet.srl.ro/shop/index.html
search for HN1X40
