'[PIC] Pickit2 and PIC16f876A'

Hi there,
I need some help.
I want to program a PIC16F876A using PICKIT2. So I need to make a ICSP
cable to do so.

I am a little confused as there is a line, from the programming
header, labelled VDD_TGT.
I do not know if this line has to be connected or not.  If so where do
I connect it?

The other lines, that I am familiar with, are: CLK, DAT, VPP.

Thanks in advance.

Usually goes to the Vdd of your PIC.  It's the "target Vdd", for
powering your circuit from the PICkit2.

Doesn't that mean "Target VDD"? You have to power the chip in order to
program it...
You'll also need a GND (ground)..
