'[PIC] Logic Analyzer for PIC related measurments.'

face picon face
Hi.
I've been looking for something to complement my
HP scope (4 chan, 150Mhz, 54602B, works just fine)
like a "logic analyzer". Happend to find this today :

http://www.pctestinstruments.com/index.htm

Anyone here having this one (or a similar or just
having some thoughts about it) ?

It has probably more channels that I need, and it's
primarily medium speed logic curcuits (mostly
PIC based) I would use it on.

Best Regards,
Jan-Erik.

I've had good service with my ANT-8, you might go with an ANT-16 for more
channels.  Limited depth, but so far I haven't hit anything that I couldn't
use it on.

Yep, looks quite OK.

Just one thing, since you have one... :-)
The cable with "hooks" seems to be optional.
What's supplied as standard ?
(The other one I looked at had cables with small female
contacts that connects directly to header pins.)

Finaly, what is the connector at the ANT-xx unit ?
Whould it be possibly/simple to make an own cable ?

Jan-Erik.

Comes out as a DB-9, which is pretty convenient. On prototypes, I bring the
interesting signals out to a 10 pin connector, and then I can go in with
hooks easily, or attach a matching DB9

Easily, and the hooks they provide are not all that wonderful.
I am looking for a set of hooks from a tek or hp logic analyzer to set up a
set of nice ones with.
