Hi

I'm using a 16C84 to drive a 16x2 lcd display using 4 bit data transfer.
To write data to the lcd the upper 4 bits are sent first but what about
reading data. On reading data do I get the upper or lower 4 bits first?

cheers

Tom

Reads/writes in 4-bit mode are both high nybble first. In both
cases check the Busy flag only after two 4-bit transfers
