Fine. And the MPASM and MPLINK in that kit are called "V 3.60" Now, if that is later then the in the earlier kits, the only way the get the newer ASM and LINK tools is to download the full 30+ MB MPLAB kit, right ? But, making your suggestion known to Microchip is only an e-mail away. Or post your suggestion on their new web board. It's worth a try, who knows, maybe you will get your wish. After all, it is a great suggestion. In the meantime, you can get a free program like DownloadExpress from MetaProducts Software Corporation and download the file over several sessions -- it will pick up where you left off. There are many programs out there like this. I have dial-up and this program is a godsend for me. I don't know, but yesterday evening I downloaded MPLAB 6.40 and installed it this morning.
