ok,
someone has given me access to some files on thier computer
they gave me the address to telnet to, and then they said:
"since I dont want my computer open on the net use SLED
to access the files you need"  however I don't know what SLED is!!!
they havent replied to me either so I though maybee someone here
might know... what is this SLED thing????

thanks,
Ryan

After a VERY comprehensive search, I've found:

sled.alaska.edu
That was the only thing I found. As far as accessing files, I don't think it's
possible using a telnet session. What you can do (try) is put:

\\IP-ADDRESS

in the Run box on the start menu.
I thought this list was about PIC's? =)

The SLED I know is an amazing 17K text editor, (Sams' Little Editor).  It can be found on Simtel achieves.  Here is one place:

ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/msdos/Simtel/editor/sled11.zip
