Notwithstanding the correctness of the character quoted, it is
ironic/ significant that the resulting product fetches a premium.

Fields said it in a film with Mae West. I've seen it.

Boy, glad that went to the list!
Can we atleast make an ATTEMPT to keep the stuff on topic?
I got on this list to learn about pics, and at first I used to delete alot
of it cuz it was over my head, now I just delete it cuz its crap.
if I wanted to talk trivia I would have joined the Jeopardy list!

You have a somewhat valid complaint - this is why we introduced the [OT]
for Off Topic posts.  If you don't want to read them, set up a filter to
put them directly into your trash.  I filter them into an off topic
folder for reading when I need a break.

But the OT stuff I notice is usually stuff about general electronics,
sensors, etc.  That I feel is still useful information, and I dont want to
trash it.
Also, alot of the OT headed posts occasionaly meander back into being on
topic.
how bout the overly personal individuals trying to restrain themselves a
bit?
Hmm, this has OT in the subject..
Well, I have this reall good recipe for chicken parmagain<sp?>.
bah blah blah..
I also went to the dragstip last nite, blew the rear end out of my car.
Didnt even get to make a single pass.  Had to pay a good ole boy to tow me
back into town so I could call AAA for a tow, since they dont pick up from
a race track...what a lousy evening.
anyhow, I am taking out all of the IRS and installing a solid axle with
disc brakes and a limited slip diff...WOO HOO..no more one wheel peels!

What did any of this have to do with pics? not a damn thing...and it had
no reason on here like alot of the other stuff.

Yup, Scott, YOUR signature is right on topic!

BTW, I had a '72 Pinto with a 2L stock normally aspirated.  When I finally
sold it about 125K miles, the engine and tranny was what got me the dough -
the body was Swiss cheese.  Had a buddy with a 302 in his.
