Any of us developed a PIC application for this guy?

I'm just going to start forwarding all these to the list... Good for a laugh
if nothing else.

I suggest you refer him to Olin.  He has a soft heart for beginners who
need info.

re Krush's Paintball & Air

If he (or she - I've known a girl or two for whom the name
"Krush" would not be inappropriate) is a retailer/supplier,
and this is a legitimate enquiry, eg perhaps for modifying or
improving rather than pirating, then he/she could go to the
manufacturer and ask

If no luck there, and the PIC is locked out, and it's legit, then
it'd be easier to start from scratch and reverse-engineer

Tell him you don't deal with people who can't punctuate correctly (even those who have "need need"s, let alone
those who accidentally run into things  :-)

Interesting, I did a PaintBall Gun with the same processor a few years ago.
Fun project, don't think it went anywhere.

I was fun firing paint balls in FULL AUTO mode into a trash can in my
garage!

The neighbors all eventually came by for a DEMO!

Well, there are, I guess, three possibilities:

1. It went farther than you thought and this guy wants to duplicate the
prototype you made.

2. You happen to have produced the same thing that someone else made and
that this guy wants to duplicate.

3. They may be two different applications of an 877 to a paintball gun.

In two out of three cases, it seems to me it would be a good idea for you to
contact the guy and let him know what you have.

Off in another forum, I had cause to look up
   www.wickedairsportz.com/products.php?cat=8
which I believe is a rather successful series of 'full auto' style
paintball upgrades based on PIC processors...

Interesting....as I was given a request to design a paintball loading mechanism, didn't
specify using a PIC tho....  I declined, too busy on other projects and sounded like a
 big can of worms...electromechanically....
