Hi all!

In many schematics from the US (including an application in Myke's PIC
book) I see the 2F7000 MOSFET which is supposed to be great for switching
from TTL/CMOS outputs. Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible to get it
here in Germany. Does anyone know a suitable replacement? I've once used
the BUZ10, but it's sort of `overpowered' and a little large for your
average 7-segment display cathode driver. And the BSS295, which would be
Ok, again seems to be a part that is not much asked for in electronics
stores.

TIA,
Georg.

I have never heard of the 2F7000. Are you sure you aren't looking for a
2N7000? That is a common part, in a TO92 case. Inexpensive too. Digi Key
hase them for $0.60 in quantities of ten.
