I know this is way off, but I am dying to have an internet speedometer
that tells me the delays in my connection (a DSL line) and in a
graphical form shows them.  That way, I will know if it is my ISP or the
net in general, or the server that I am logging onto.  I want it to be
graphical and minimized for when I want to call it up.  Anyone seen
something like this??

Thanks
Chris~

Try http://www.neoworx.com/goonline/ntcurs.asp

It displays the route on a map, and shows the delay incurred in each hop of
a connection in graphical form. To gain a quick snapshot of where a source
is and where the hold-up is in the connection, I find it useful.

Regards

Chris

Wow!  this program is freaking great!  I can see all of the details in
graphical and detailed lists.  Un-be-frickin-believable!  I gotta pay for
this...

Thanks!

I've used NetMedic for ages on Win95/98. Free unlimited-
use trial version displays data speed (in/out) and site delays,
very useful for spotting dead or slow sites

Can I also put a plug in for some other utilities -

Fineprint - free unlimited trial version will shrink print to up
to 4 pages per side, saves a scad of paper when printing
listings or for printing a whole program on one sheet of paper

Enditall - close all applications with a single-click, very handy
when defragging

InoculateIT - once-commercial Computer Associates antivirus
program, released as freeware after I Love You. No strings, no
spam
