Hello,

Where I work we have this killing yoke. It's quite simple actually. It goo's
like this. Who invented the term FUTURE PRODUCT? Let me help you it begins
with micro and ends with chip guess who?
On paper Mchip looks great but in the real world
it.......................:-(. Care to comment? Pleas do.

A little unfair to pick on MChip, you could say this about virtualy all IC
manufacturers.  The moral of the story is to NEVER design a product in
anticipation of a "future device" being ready in time for production.

Mike,

Maybe you are right bud we did not have these FUTURE PRODUCT problems when
we did some work with the HC12.
Maybe the PR people at Mchip should listen more carefully when hardware
wizards speak.
