I know this is a bit of a long shot but I cant seem to find anyone selling
"blank" gauge cases.

I've got some automotive products that I am designing and will hopefully be
selling in the not too distant future and I'm trying to find a supplier for
empty 52mm (2 1/16") gauge pods.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Dom

Um, maybe a web search?  Try http://tinyurl.com/v2b5 .

Ummm - after 3 hours on Google and Dogpile yesterday, I still hadn't found a
supplier of empty gauge cases. There are a lot of gauge pods out there (the
things that you mount the gauges in) but finding someone who provides empty
gauge cases is proving almost impossible.

I even went as far as contacting some injection moulding companies to see if
that was a feasible route to take but with a 1000ukp setup cost (approx) it
makes it a little expensive for a startup company.

Regards

Dom

Dom,
Depends on how many you might need. For a few I'd probably just find
an inexpensive gauge and remove the innards. If you need more, I'd see
about contacting the gauge manufactures directly and ask them.
