It's a Chinese knock-off. The controls are a bit cheap-feeling and the display has a few bad pixels and a pretty small angle of visibility (whatever that term is) both horizontally and vertically. I've used an Owon 2-channel scope (don't remember the model number), and it was alright. The controls were very straightforward, the feature set was limited compared to a Tek scope, but definitely sufficient for lower-end use. Now that Tek has been bought out, they might be rebadging import scopes for the low end market soon enough. Tek used to be to scopes like Maytag was to home appliances - now Maytag is owned by Whirlpool and Maytag fridges are made by Samsung.
