Wondering pinout of the most common electret microphones. So far looks like tip is not used, sleeve has audio and bias on it and barrel has ground. O <- tip (no connection) || <- sleeve (audio and bias) || <- barrel (gnd) |^^| | | Is this correct? Not on any I have seen Tip is signal and bias on a mono plug. On a stereo plug, tip is output and bias goes on the ring. Barrel is Gnd in both.
