Hi:

I have a large inventory of brand new (NOT SURPLUS)components that I will sell for much less than Digikey prices.  I have millions of components.   If anyone is interested in reselling, I will ship directly from USA; and at an attractive commission.  I just want to get rid of these components because they are taking a lot of space and I can use the money for more development..  If interested email me off list.

Regards
Rich

OK, so how about a list and prices?

Your email got cut off somewhere.  Do not send paragraphs as single long
lines.  Lines should be around 80 characters or less.

There is a free auction engine at piclist.com that will put components on
archive and other pages for you and will give payment and shipment contact
to buyer and seller for each sale.
http://www.piclist.com/techref/auction.asp

As the site gets better than 1.5 million hits a month from 11,000 unique
addresses, that seems like a good deal to me...  11000 people per month
for... Nothing... I'm totally amazed that more people don't make use of it.
If people used it, I would add features based on feedback... And keep it
free most likely. Instead, people pay google to put ads on the pages where
google ads have been allowed, and I do get paid some (small) amount from
that.

Advertising on a popular web site... Offer it for free: No response. Allow
google to make money from it and get paid a bit at the same time: Lots of
use. Weird. Must be the power of standardization?

BTW: So far this month, the site is averaging 68,641 hits per day, which is
up 37%. Good thing I have google as my hosting bill will be higher again.

How are they not surplus?  Are you the original manufacturer or distributor?

Also, "brand new components" is a little vague.  I might be
interested, or not, depending on what components they are.

James,
How many hits the auction site actually gets out of this 68K+?
Also, this number is probably underestimate, because some people read PICList
from a mirror.

The actual auction page hardly ever gets hit. 168 times last month!

But the CONTENT of the items that are up for auction is displayed on an
average of 1 page in 10. So 6.8K hits per month, but since each IP looks at
about 5 pages per visit, that is about half of the 11,000 unique visitors
per month... Err.. If I did that right... Anyway, I would be happy to
increase the exposure if it were being used. But it's not.

Why don't you attach the list here or put it on a web server ?
there would be many people interested in your stock if it's a seriuos offer
(milions of parts) as you said.

I got a list by mail.

There are > 1.1 millons of just one part (a red standard LED).
And over 2.7 milions (185 reels) of a 68 pF cer chip smd cap.
And 150.000 1N4007 diods.

Doesn't look as some hobbyists "don't need" stuff... :-)

Regards,
Jan-Erik.

Nothing but a general statement saying
"half of Digikey".

Which I think is rather high without
a known background for the batch...

I emailed him directly and he sent me the list. A large number of
resistors, diodes, LEDs.
I can send it to you if you email me, or you can email him directly I'm
sure.

Hi All:

I cannot post the inventory list because it is millions of components
including semiconductors, op amps, electrolytic, voltage regulators, diodes,
low leakage polyesters, etc.

I will attach the inventory list directly to your e-mail if you e-mail me
directly at KILLspamrgrazia1KILLspamspamrochester.rr.com
